The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) is an independent office of the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Commissioner is responsible for informing the public about the legislation, providing an independent review mechanism for the citizens of the Province, and will ensure that the legislation is upheld throughout government. The Commissioner will investigate and mediate complaints, as well as make recommendations to government and agencies.


Public Education and Outreach

Access and Privacy Analysts for the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner are available to undertake presentations to interested groups within the Province about the ATIPPA and OIPC.
